Instruments - Kanteles and kantele-related objects:

    The Haapavesi museum kantele collection is displayed in the museum under the city hall, Tähtelänkuja 1.  It is open on summer Sundays and by appointment with Jane Ilmola.  

   The Martti Pokela collection is displayed in both the lobby of the city hall, Tähtelänkuja 1, and the coffee shop of the Haapavesi technology village .  More instruments donated by Martti Pokela in September of 2001 are also on display.  The collection is open on weekdays and on arrangement.
